LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kansas women's swimming and diving team was named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Fall Scholar All-America team, marking Kansas' 45
th-straight semester earning the honor.
The Jayhawks posted a team GPA of 3.76 to earn the All-America team honors, which ranked as the highest GPA in the Big 12 Conference and tied for 10th among Division I schools. In total, 781 teams from 459 institutions received the honor for the Fall 2024 semester.
"We are so proud of the team's academic accomplishments during the fall semester," said Kansas head coach
Clark Campbell. "Much of the credit goes to
Laura Jacobsen and the entire SASS staff. Our program is fortunate having excellent support staff and exceptionally motivated swimmers and divers."
Kansas swimming and diving has been recognized by the organization for the 45th-consecutive semester, while the Jayhawks have held a GPA of 3.60 or higher for 14-straight semesters. To qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA)Â is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
