LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas soccer will round out the weekend by hosting Drake for a Sunday evening match at Rock Chalk Park. The match is slated to begin at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+. Tickets can be purchased by clicking

The Jayhawks are coming off a tough 1-1 draw against No. 2 Florida State on Thursday, as Kansas recorded their first result against a No. 2 team in program history.
"We didn't get the win on Thursday night, but we showed that we can compete with anybody this year," head coach Nate Lie said. "That being said, we have to focus on Drake on Sunday, as they are a tough team who gave us a good matchup last year."
This season, senior Lexi Watts leads the Jayhawks this season in goals scored (3) and points (7). Sophomore Sophie Dawe has recorded 15 saves on the season, and has tallied three or more saves in four straight matches.Â
ABOUT DRAKEÂ
Drake comes into the match with a 2-1-2 record on the season. They recently faced off against SIUE on Thursday and picked up a 2-0 win. The Bulldogs are led by Eve Blakey, who has scored five goals and recorded two assists this season.
SERIES HISTORY
Kansas leads the all time series 4-0-1 over Drake, with a 0-0-1 record in matches played in Lawrence. The last matchup took place last year on Aug. 18, 2024 in Des Moines, Iowa, where the Jayhawks won the match 1-0.
