FORT WORTH, Texas – Kansas and No. 17 TCU were in the top of the ninth inning Tuesday before inclement weather moved into the area to halt play. The game will be resumed on Wednesday at 12 p.m. CT.

When the game resumes, Kansas will trail 9-2 with one out in the top of the ninth.
Dylan Schlotterback will be at the plate, with
Dariel Osoria at third base and
Augusto Mungarrieta at second base.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• TCU scored an unearned run in the first inning on a sacrifice fly to take a 1-0 lead.
• The Horned Frogs extended their advantage to 3-0 in the second inning. The first run came in to score on a throwing error and another run scored on a balk.
• TCU stretched its lead with a five-run fourth inning. A run scored on an RBI single by Cole Cramer and Chase Brunson hit a grand slam to make it an 8-0 game.
• Another run scored in the sixth inning on an RBI triple off the bat of Sawyer Strosnider. That brought the score to 9-0.
• Kansas scored two runs in the top of the ninth inning before weather rolled in. Osoria had an RBI single and Mungarrieta hit an RBI double to make it 9-2.
