ST. LOUIS – Kansas soccer travels to St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday, Sept. 12, to face the Saint Louis Billikens in the final non-conference match of the season. The match is slated to begin at 3:30 p.m. CT, and will be broadcast on ESPN+.

"Saint Louis is a really good team, and playing on the road is always a challenge," Kansas head coach Nate Lie said. "We know we're going to have to be sharp from the start and compete. This is our last non-conference match, so we want to finish this part of our schedule the right way, continue to build momentum, and put ourselves in a good position heading into conference play."

Kansas cruised to a win over Kansas City on Sept. 3, playing to a 3-0 shutout victory over the Roos. The Jayhawks scored two goals in a span of 46 seconds in the first half from Norah Jacomen and Caroline Castans to take a quick 2-0 lead, before Jocelyn Herrema added another goal in the second half to give KU the 3-0 win. Kansas registered 32 shots, marking back-to-back matches that the Jayhawks have taken over 30 shots. The KU defense did not concede a shot for the first time in program history.Â

Kansas soccer moved up to No. 20 in the TopDrawerSoccer poll this week. Kansas has been ranked in every TDS poll this season.
This season, Jillian Gregorski and Caroline Castans are tied for the team lead and tied for third in the Big 12 with four goals a piece. Livvy Moore leads KU and the Big 12 in assists with six, and is also tied for fourth in the country in assists. Goalkeeper Sophie Dawe leads the Big 12 in minutes played with 629. Kansas leads the Big 12 in shots (149), points (54), and corners (72), and is tied for the conference lead in goals (18) and assists (18).
ABOUT SAINT LOUIS
Saint Louis enters Saturday's match with a 4-1-2 record after handling Southeast Missouri State 4-0 on Wednesday. The Billikens are led by Audrey Smith, who has scored six goals and recorded 13 points this season, which both lead the Atlantic 10. SLU also leads the A-10 in both goals (15) and points (48). Saint Louis was picked to finish second in the Atlantic 10 preseason poll.
SERIES HISTORY
Kansas leads the all-time series over Saint Louis 5-2-1, with the Billikens owning a 2-0-1 mark in matches played in St. Louis. Saturday's match will be the first meeting between the teams since the opening round of the NCAA Tournament in 2024, when Saint Louis picked up a 1-0 win over Kansas on Nov. 15, 2024 in St. Louis, Mo.
