2005 (as a junior)
Played in 43 of the Jayhawks’ 55 games and started 15 times in the outfield, behind the plate or as the designated player … Hit .234, scored 14 runs and finished second on the squad with nine stolen bases on 11 attempts … Had a hot bat in the month of March, notching four multi-hit games, including three-RBI performances on three difference occasions — Ball State (March 3), Louisville (March 11) and Rhode Island (March 18) …Went 2-for-4 as a pinch hitter in KU’s win over Arizona State on Feb. 27 … Hit first career home run and went 2-for-2 with three RBI on March 5 against Ball State … Added another three-run homer as the designated player against Louisville on March 11 … Added two hits in KU[apos]s victory over SMS on March 12 … Stepped in to catch for the first time of her career after freshman Elle Pottorf was injured in the third inning against No. 6 Texas A&M on April 3 … Caught first full game of her career April 5 against UMKC … Recorded a career-best 10 putouts and stole a base in the win … Caught second full game of the season and stole a base against North Dakota State on April 28.
2004 (as a sophomore)
Saw action in 38 games and started in the outfield 11 times … Finished second on the team with nine stolen bases in 11 attempts … Was hit by two pitches, the second most of any Jayhawk … Scored runs in nine games on the season … Went 1-for-2 with two RBI against Arizona State on Feb. 8 … Stole two bases against North Texas on Feb. 14 and against Texas Tech in the Big 12 Tournament on May 12.
2003 (as a freshman)
Appeared in 35 game, starting 12 … Tied for fifth on the team with five stolen bases … One of eight newcomers and one of seven freshmen … Went 2-for-3 with two runs against Bethune-Cookman on Feb. 7 … Started both games of doubleheaders against Arkansas and Texas … Stole a base against Arkansas on April 16 … Stole her first career base against Purdue on Feb. 8 … Is the lone KU player from the state of Illinois.

Four-year letterwinner in softball for the Boilermakers at Kewanee High in Kewanee, Ill. … Two-time regional first-team selection as well as second-team and honorable mention … Team MVP her junior and senior years … Coached by Karen Van Dyke … Earned eight total letters, also playing two years of varsity basketball and volleyball … Earned all-league honorable mention in hoops and volleyball … Made the honor roll all four years.
