One of three Jayhawks to start all 55 games … An All-Big 12 Second Team and Academic All-Big 12 First Team selection … Led the team with 36 RBI and 171 at bats … Ranked second with 48 hits and 10 home runs and tied for fourth on the squad with a .281 batting average … Also totaled nine doubles and four sacrifice flies … Had 11 multi-hit and nine multi-RBI games … Went 2-for-3 with a double against New Mexico State on Feb. 5 … Named to the Hilton New Mexico Classic All-Tournament team … Went 3-for-3 against Utah Valley State (Feb. 13) and Ball State (March 5) … Led KU with four hits and two RBI in a doubleheader at Wichita State on March 31 … Went 2-for-3 in KU[apos]s win at No. 24 Nebraska on April 20 … Posted a career-high four hits in five at-bats, including a three-run homer and the game-winner, in KU[apos]s win over No. 5 Oklahoma on April 23 … Named Big 12 Player of the Week on April 26 … Hit a solo homer against North Dakota State on April 28 and tied the KU all-time career home run record (23) … Went 3-for-4 and scored two runs at Iowa State on May 7 … Broke the KU home runs record in the Jayhawks[apos] final game of the season, blasting the 24th bomb of her career on May 21 against Georgia Tech in the NCAA Tournament.
2004 (as a sophomore)
Started 55 of 57 games she played in … Third on the squad with seven stolen bases in 10 attempts … Notched three home runs late in the season … Was hit by four pitches, tying Heather Stanley for the most of any Jayhawk … Second on the team with four sacrifice hits … Recorded multi-hit games against SMS (March 9) and Illinois State (March 14) … Notched four or more putouts on six occasions … Her two RBI against Texas Tech on May 12 gave KU its first win of the Big 12 Tournament … Named a Jayhawk Scholar.
2003 (as a freshman)
Set a KU freshman record with 11 homers in 2003, ranking second all-time for a season and tied for the Big 12 lead … Had a team-leading six game-winning RBI … Led the team in several offensive categories including home runs, RBI (27), doubles (tied with seven) and slugging percentage (.559) … Started every game at second base … Her 11th homer of the year gave KU a 1-0 win over seventh-ranked Nebraska on April 25 … Hit two homers in game one and a third in game two of a doubleheader sweep of Oklahoma City on Feb. 25 … Named to the Crimson Classic All-Tournament team … Hit two home runs, firsts in her collegiate career, and had five RBI vs. Bethune-Cookman on Feb. 7 … Her 27 RBI ranks fourth all-time for freshmen at KU … Had 11 multi-hit and seven multi-RBI games … Went 6-for-11 with four homers in one three-game stretch … Her .559 slugging percentage is currently the highest all-time at KU by 58 points … Named team offensive MVP.
