2010 OUTDOOR: Set a personal best in the hammer throw with a distance of 44.39m (145-08.00ft.) at the Kansas Relays (April 17)… Finished in the third place in the hammer throw at the Razorback Spring Invitational (Mar. 27) with a throw of 43.48m (120-06.00ft.)… Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Team.
2010 INDOOR: Best throw of the season in the shot put came at the Bob Timmons Challenge (Dec. 5) with a distance of 12.40m (40-08.25ft.), finishing fourth… Longest throw of the year in the weight throw was 13.78m (45-02.50ft.) at the Bill Easton Classic (Jan. 8), where she also notched a second place finish.
2009 OUTDOOR: Recorded a career-best mark of 42.48 (139-4 ft.) in the hammer throw at the Kansas Relays (Apr. 16)…Finished 10th in the discus at the Arkansas Twilight (May 1) with a season-best mark of 35.18 meters (115-05ft.)
2009 INDOOR: Competed in the shot put and weight throw in five different meets during the indoor season…Posted her season-best weight throw of 13.66 meters (44-09.75 ft.) at the KU vs. MU Dual (Jan. 16), where she finished fifth…Turned in her best shot put performance at the Adidas Classic (Jan. 31), with a mark of 11.97 meters (39-03.25 ft.).
2008 OUTDOOR: Competed in the hammer throw at five meets, finishing in the top 11 four times…Recorded a season-best throw of 38.97 meters (127-10 ft.) at the Sooner Invitational to place 10th…Finished 11th at the Arkansas Twilight with a throw of 37.00 meters (121-05 ft.)…Placed 10th at the Missouri Relays after recording a mark of 34.38 meters (112-09 ft.)…Finished in 11th place at the John Jacobs Invitational with a throw of 32.04 meters (105-01 ft.).
2008 INDOOR: Competed in the shot put three times…Had a season-best throw of 11.48 meters (37-08 ft.) at the KSU All-Comers meet.
HIGH SCHOOL: 2006-07 Wendy[apos]s High School Heisman Award Nominee… Selected as the 2007 Mill Valley Female Athlete of the Year by the Shawnee Dispatch…Participated in volleyball, basketball and track…Nine-time letterwinner (four in track, three in basketball, two in volleyball)…Qualified for the state championships in the shot put her sophomore, junior and senior years and qualified in the discus her junior and senior years…Placed fifth in the 5A state shot put in 2006 and 2007…Set a school record with a shot put throw of 12.69 meters (41-07.50 ft.) and in the discus at 35.03 meters (114-11 ft.) at the state championships in 2007…Selected to the 2007 all-sun girls track team by The Sun Newspapers…Selected to the spring 2006 second team all-star Johnson County girls track team…2007 spring all-metro track honorable mention…Throwing team captain her junior and senior years…Also a team captain for volleyball and basketball her senior year…Kaw Valley all-league honorable mention for basketball her senior year…Jaguar Award for team leadership her senior year in basketball.
