2010 OUTDOOR: Recorded two third place finishes, the first in the 3,000 meters at the Arkansas Spring Invitational (Mar. 27) with a personal best time of 8:37.66, and the second coming in the 5,000 meters at the Kansas Relays (April 15) with a time of 14:40.13…Ran a personal best time of 14:36.25 in the 5,000 meters at the Drake Relays (April 22).
2010 INDOOR: Finished in the top five in five of the seven events he ran in…Notched two first place finishes, the first in the 3,000 meters at the Jayhawk Classic (Jan. 29) with a time of 8:43.80, and the second coming in the 5,000 meters at the Husker Invitational (Feb. 5) on a time of 14:52.24…Competed in the Big 12 Championships (Feb. 27) in the 3,000 meters and finished in 36th with a personal best time of 8:37.85…Ran the team[apos]s season best and his personal best in the 5,000 meters at the ISU Classic (Feb. 13) with a time of 14:46.94, finishing in second.
2009 CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in all six meets for the Crimson and Blue…Posted a season-best 25:31.90 at the ISU Pre-Nationals Invitational (Oct. 17)…Finished fourth on the team at the Big 12 Championships (Oct. 31) in an 8K time of 26:28.23…Had arguably his best race of the season at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships (Nov. 14), where he ran the 10K course in 32:23.60 to finish second on the squad and 46th overall…Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team.
2009 OUTDOOR: Competed in three events for the Jayhawks…Finished 19th in the 5,000 meters at the Kansas Relays (April 16) with a time of 15:17.69…Posted a season-best 11th place finish in the 10,000 meters at the Drake Relays (April 23), clocking in at 31:51.59…Ran the 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters at the Big 12 Championships, finishing in 23rd and 13th place, respectively.
2009 INDOOR: Placed sixth in the 3,000 at the KU vs. MU Dual (Jan 16)…ran a career-best 3,000 meter time of 8:41.27 at the Arkansas Invitational (Jan 9), where he finished ninth overall…Clocked in at 8:54.05 at the Adidas Classic (Jan 31) to finish 13th.
2008 CROSS COUNTRY: Placed 12th at the Bob Timmons Classic with an 8K time of 26:25.60…Finished in 10th place at the Missouri Cross Country Challenge after posting an 8K time of 27:33.24…Recorded a 56th-place finish at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree in an 8K time of 26:04…Ran a 25:53 at the ISU Pre-Nationals…Ran a season-best 8K time of 25:32.58 at the Big 12 Championships to finish in 40th place overall and third for the Jayhawks…Competed for the second consecutive year at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships, finishing in 61st place with a 10K time of 32:50.70…Selected to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team.
2008 OUTDOOR: Had four top-15 finishes in six races…Finished fourth in the 3,000 meters at the John Jacobs Invitational with a time of 8:56.75…Placed eighth in the 5,000 meters at the Kansas Relays after running 15:05.97…Had a 12th-place finish in the 10,000 meters at the Big 12 Championships with a time of 32:08.54…Finished 23rd in the 5,000 meters at the Big 12 Championships after running a 16:03.24.
2008 INDOOR: Competed in four different events throughout the season…Placed ninth in the 3,000 meters at the Adidas Classic with a season-best time of 8:44.10…Finished fifth in the 3,000 meters at the Kansas Invitational (8:44.21)…Ran a season-best time of 15:04 in the 5,000 meters at the ISU Classic.
2007 CROSS COUNTRY: Contributed greatly as a freshman…Finished 17th at the Bob Timmons Classic with a time of 27:20.48 in his first collegiate race…Helped Kansas to a win over Kansas State with his sixth-place finish at the Kansas State vs. Kansas Duel (16:02.30, 5K)…Set a personal-best at the NCAA Pre-Nationals with a time of 25:29.70 for the 8K (199th place)…Placed 72nd at the Big 12 Championships with a time of 27:16.39…Ran a time of 32:36 in his first 10K race at the Midwest Regionals (85th place).
HIGH SCHOOL: Runner-up at the 2006 Nebraska Class A State Cross Country Championships (15:55)…Runner-up at 2007 Nebraska Class A State Track and Field Championships in the 3,200 meters (9:22)…Member of cross country state runner-up teams in 2004 and 2005…Member of track state runner-up teams in 2005 and 2007…Member of 2006 Super-State Boys Cross Country Team…Four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track.
