Get to Know Abigail ...
Why did you choose KU?- I chose KU because of the educational opportunities and the chance to be part of something bigger. I love being part of the rowing team and getting to challenge myself and my teammates through the ups and downs of life we are experiencing.
How did you get introduced to rowing?
- A hometown family friend stopped me at the post office to ask me about my college experience. He told me that if I ever wanted to try something new then I should check out rowing.
Favorite thing to do in Lawrence?
- Hangout with my teammates and row.

- Member of the 1 Varsity 4+ boat at the Sarasota 2K, Lake Wheeler Invite (Round Three), Dillons Sunflower Showdown, and Big 12 Championship
- Raced on the 2 Varsity 8+Â at the Double Dual and Lake Wheeler Invite (Round Two)
- A member of the 1 Varsity 8+ boat for round one of the Lake Wheeler Invite
- Member of the cross-country team and helped them to a district championship in 2020
- Winner of the Jenny Sheldon Overhue Leadership and Courage Award
