Why did you choose KU?
- I chose KU because of it's beautiful campus, strong academics, and the Kansas Women's Rowing Team. Lawrence is also the perfect college town and has everything that I need to thrive as a student-athlete.
How did you get introduced to rowing?
- A friend invited me to try rowing during my sophomore year of high school. After that, I fell in love with the sport and never looked back.
What is your favorite pre-race tradition?
- Before every race, I always pray, giving the race to God and thanking Him for the opportunity He has given me. It helps my nerves to surrender every race to God, knowing He is fully in control.
