2007-08 (Junior): Returned to action after battling an injury at the end of the 2006-07 season… Recorded the fastest team times in the 100 and 200-yard butterfly events… Returned to the finals at the 2008 Big 12 Championship meet in the 100 and 200-yard butterfly events, placing eighth in each… Time of 54.92 in the 100 fly at Big 12s was the fastest time recorded by a Jayhawk on the season… Placed 10th in the 50-yard free at the Big 12 meet (23.82)… Fastest 200 fly time came against Nebraska when she recorded a 2:00.08… Was a member of the 200 and 400-yard medley relays that placed second at Big 12s and shattered KU all-time records… Also a member of the 200-yard free relay that placed fifth at Big 12s, a season-best time… Set four pool records at the Nike Cup-Kenyon Invite as a member of the 200 and 400 medley and 200 and 400 free relays that all placed first… Established an individual pool record at the Nike Cup in the 200-yard butterfly after a first-place, 2:02.26 finish… Also placed second in the 100 fly and 11th in the 50 free at the Nike Cup… Recorded a dual meet victory in the 100 fly against Northern Iowa… Won the 200 fly against Missouri and Drury… Captured the 50 fly against Illinois State, Nebraska-Omaha and Iowa State.
2006-07 (Sophomore): Swept first-place finishes in the 100 and 200-yard butterfly events in the double-dual meet against Nebraska-Omaha and South Dakota State (57.90; 2:07.57) and at the Nike Cup (57.29; 2:03.09)… First-place finish in the 100 fly at the Nike Cup (57.29), established a Kenyon Athletic Center Natatorium record in the event… 200-yard butterfly (2:03.09) at the Nike Cup set a team best-time for the season in the event… Also swam the 50-yard freestyle at the Nike Cup (24.74) for an 11th-place finish and the 100-yard freestyle (55.12) for a 21st-place finish… Was the first-place high point swimmer in the butterfly events against Northern Iowa, finishing first in the 50 fly (26.16), 100 fly (58.22) and 200 fly (2:09.36)… Finished second in both the 100 (57.55) and 200 (2:06.37) fly in Kansas[apos] meet against Missouri… Swam the 50-yard freestyle (24.22), 100 fly (56.33; third-place finals), 200 fly (2:03.12; fourth-place finals) and the 100 back (58.82; 21st-place finals) at the Terrapin Cup Invitational… 50-free (24.22) finish at the Terrapin Cup landed her fourth on the team 2006-07 top-five list in the event… Her 100-fly (56.33) time at the Terrapin Cup also earned her fourth-place on the 2006-07 top-five times list… Finished first in the 50-meter butterfly against Northern Michigan (29.19)… Finished third in the 200 fly (2:08.19) and fourth in the 100 fly (59.05) against Nebraska… An injury shortened her sophomore campaign.
2005-06 (Freshman): Competed at the NCAA Championships in the 100 and 200 fly… Won the 200 fly (2:01.97), 100 free (51.96), 100 fly (55.00) and 400 free relay in the dual meet against Missouri… Held the team[apos]s fastest times in the 100 fly (53.08), 200 fly (1:59.97), 50 free (23.60) and 100 free (50.80)… Finished first in the 100 fly (53.08) and 200 fly (1:59.97) at the Minnesota Invitational… Set school records in the 100 fly (53.08) and 400 medley relay… Holds the Robinson Pool record in the 100 fly (55.00)… Named an Academic All-American for her performance in both the pool and classroom… Received the KU Swimming and Diving [quote]Newcomer of the Year[quote] award.
High School (Shawnee Mission North): 2003 state champion in the 50 free… Swam in the 50 free and the 100 fly as a senior… Competed in the 50 free and 100 fly at the World Championship Trials in 2005… Participated in cross country and basketball… Member of the National Honor Society for two years.
