2006-07 (Freshman): Made an instant impact in Kansas[apos] distance freestyle and IM events her freshman season… Qualified for the 2007 NCAA Championships in her first season (500 and 1650-yard freestyle events)… Swam to a time of 4:59.26 in the 500 free and finished 29th in the 1650 free (16:31.14) at NCAAs… Broke a 14-year-old Kansas 1650-yard freestyle record with her third-place finish at the Big 12 Championships in the event (16:24.91), landing her the fastest time in the event in Kansas all-time history… Set another school record in her 1000-yard freestyle performance (9:53.51), also at Big 12s… Was a member of the Big 12 800-yard freestyle relay that set a season-best time for Kansas (7:25.07)… Also set a team season best time in the 400-yard IM at Big 12s, finishing 17th with a time of 4:26.52)… Recorded top-five team times in the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.01; Terrapin Cup), 500-yard freestyle (4:51.90; Terrapin Cup), 200-yard butterfly (2:06.24; Nike Cup) and 200-yard IM (2:08.52; Nike Cup)… Finished 11th in the 500-yard freestyle at Big 12s (4:52.19)… In addition to the 500 and 200 free at the Terrapin Cup Invitational, finished second in the 1650-yard freestyle (16:46.75) and 26th in the 200-yard butterfly (2:09.13; Prelims)… Finished second in the 400-yard IM (4:27.76) and fifth in the 500-yard free (4:57.42) at the Nike Cup… Was the third-place finisher in the distance freestyle events against Northern Iowa, finishing second in the 500 free (5:04.41), third in the 1000 free (10:26.98) and fifth in the 200 free (2:00. 28)… Swam the 200 fly and 500 free in the double-dual against Nebraska-Omaha and South Dakota State as well as the dual with Nebraska… Finished second in the 500 free against Big 12 rival Missouri (4:59.86) and sixth in the 200 fly (2:09.50)… Placed second in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:07.62) in the last dual meet of the season against Iowa State.
