2007-08 (Sophomore): A sprint freestyle competitor for the Jayhawks her sophomore year… Swam the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events at the 2008 Big 12 Championship meet in Austin, Texas… Was also a member of the 200-yard medley and 400-yard freestyle relays at Big 12s… Swam the 50-yard freestyle against Kansas opponents Northern Iowa, Arkansas, Drury, Nebraska and Iowa State… Competed in the 100-yard free at the Northern Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas and Nebraska meets… Swam the 200-yard free against foes Missouri and Iowa… Contributed as a member of KU[apos]s relays at the Nike Cup, where the Jayhawks took first place. 2006-07 (Freshman): Competed in the sprint freestyle events for the Jayhawks in College Park, Md., at the Terrapin Cup Invitational… Swam the 50-yard freestyle (25.54), the 100-yard freestyle (55.06) and the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.76) in preliminaries of each of the events… Finished fifth in high points of the sprint freestyle events against the University of Northern Iowa, with a fourth-place finish in the 50 free (25.87), a fifth-place finish in the 100 free (55.95) and an 11th-place finish in the 200 free (2:04.67)… Competed in the 100 free against Missouri and both the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events against Nebraska and Iowa State, setting a season-best time in the 50 free against Iowa State (25.12)… Named a Jayhawk Scholar Athlete. High School (Emporia): Holds the school record in the 50 freestyle (24.64)… Was a four-year, First-Team, All-Centennial league winner… Four-year state qualifier… Named second-team all-state in 2005…Placed third in the 50 freestyle at the Kansas state meet in 2004.
