BOSTON, Mass. – Kansas Rowing closed its northeastern road trip with a first-place finish in the Women's Club Fours race for the third consecutive year, with the Jayhawks in Women's Championship Fours crew placing 12
th this weekend at the Head of the Charles.
"Overall, it was a really good first outing for the squad," Kansas head coach Andrew Derrick said. "A few more things came together for the boat on Saturday than it did for the Championship Fours on Sunday. However, the whole team made some good progress towards being better prepared for this spring, which is ultimately the goal. All in all, very proud of the efforts given this regatta and excited to turn around and race again at home next weekend."

Anastasiia Draha claimed Kansas' first win of the 2025 season on Saturday afternoon with a time of 18:05.254, which was 12 seconds faster than last year's mark.

Megan Engerman hit the water for Sunday's race. The crew finished 12
th with time of 18:09.467, wrapping up the Jayhawk's fourth straight appearance at the Head of the Charles.
