2009 CROSS COUNTRY: Named one of the cross country and track team captains for the 2009-10 season…Was the Jayhawks[apos] No. 2 runner in three of the five meets in which she competed…Posted a career-best 5K time of 17:42.50 at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree (Oct. 3) and finished 10^th overall in a field of 211 runners…Took 72^nd at the ISU Pre-Nationals Invitational (Oct. 17) with a 6K time of 21:49.60…Ran a 22:59.25 at the Big 12 Championships, where she finished in 39^th place…Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team.

2009 OUTDOOR: Finished third and set a new PR of 10:02.20 in the 3,000 meters at the Jim Click Shootout (April 4)…Won the 5,000 meter race at the Kansas Relays (April 16) in a career-best time of 17:24.15…finished 15^th in the 5,000 meters at the Drake Relays (April 24)…ran the 10,000 meter at the Big 12 Championship, finishing in 12^th place with a time of 38:14.60…named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team

2009 INDOOR: Recorded four top-10 finishes in the 3,000 meters…Took second at the Arkansas Invitational (Jan. 9) with a time of 10:00.58…Won the 3,000 meters at the KU vs. MU Dual (Jan. 16) in a time of 10:13.10…Shaved 25 seconds off her 3,000 meter PR at the New Balance Collegiate (Feb. 6), finishing in third place with a time of 9:53.31, which marked the fourth-fastest 3,000-meter time in school history…Ran a season-best 5,000 meter time of 17:03.28 to finish 10^th at the Big 12 Championships (Feb. 28) and crack KU[apos]s all-time bests list with the fourth-fastest 5,000-meter time.
