At what age did you start swimming and how did you get into the sport?
When I was just a baby, my dad swam going up and in college. Both parents knew how important it was to learn such an important skill.
What routines do you practice before a big race to help you focus and stay ready?
I have to eat a banana at breakfast and listen to at least one Justin Bieber song at some point before I race.
What is something that someone wouldn't know about you?
I have never broken a bone.
What sport would you play if you did not swim and why?
I would probably be a gymnast because l’m pretty short and I have always been flexible.
Why did you choose the University of Kansas?
I chose KUÂ because of all the culture and history the entire university had. The team had so many kind and welcoming girls and it was the perfect fit for me.
