At what age did you start swimming and how did you get into the sport?
- I started swimming at 10. My dad swam in high school so he got me into it and I loved it.
What routines do you practice before a big race to help you focus and stay ready?
- I don't really have one I just jump around and stay warm.
What is something that someone wouldn't know about you?
- I have three awesome dogs at home.
What sport would you play if you did not swim and why?
- I would play soccer because I used to play and I thought it was fun.
What advice would you give to young athletes who are just starting out in swimming?
- Swimming should be fun, don't stress so much. At the end of the day you'll remember the fun times you had.
Who is a role model in your life that pushed you to be better in and out of the pool?
- The older girls on my club team. They always worked so hard and I wanted to compete at their level.
Why did you choose the University of Kansas?
- I loved the team, coaches, all the student-athlete benefits and the beautiful campus.

- Placed third in the 500 free (5:17.88) at the Sunflower Showdown on Oct. 4.Â
- Won the 200 back (2:02.01) against Rockhurst on Dec. 7
2023-24 (Freshman)
- Named to Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team.
- Set five personal bests at the Mizzou Invite on November 15-17 in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.36), 500-yard freestyle (5:02.61), 1,650-yard freestyle (17:27.83), 100-yard backstroke (1:00.10) and in the 200-yard backstroke (2:03.35).
- Finished second in the 1,000-yard freestyle against Rockhurst on Dec. 2.
- Finished second in the 500-yard freestyle and third in the 1,000-yard freestyle against Arkansas on Jan. 26.Â

- Attended Wakeland High School in Frisco, Texas
- School record holder in the 200 free (1:51.66), 500 free (4:58.56), 200 IM (2:06.35) and 100 fly (57.29)
- 7 time championship finalist at state
- All-State all four years of high school
- Silver medalist in 2022 in the 500 freestyle
- Bronze medalist in 2023 in the 500 freestyle
