At what age did you start swimming and how did you get into the sport?
- I started swimming at 9 years old and I just always had a love for the water.
- I know how to crochet.
- I would be a dancer because my mom was a great dancer and it’s still something I love to do.
- My dad has always been my biggest motivator and number one fan. I look up to him in everything he does.
- I loved the sense of community that I felt when I was getting to know the coaches and team.

- Academic All-Big 12 Team
- A member of the 200 free relay that placed third at the Sunflower Showdown on October 4.
- Won the 50 free (23.68) and the 200 free relay against South Dakota on October 25-26.
- Assisted the 400 free relay to second place and 200 Medley Relay to third place finishes at the Nebraska Dual on November 1.
- Posted four victories in the 50 free (23.73), 100 free (52.40), 200 free relay, and 200 medley relay against Rockhurst on Dec. 7Â
- Placed third in the 50 free (23.73) at Arkansas on Jan. 24
- Helped the 400 freestyle relay to a victory and the 200 medley relay to a runner-up finish against Iowa State on Feb. 7

- Named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
- Earned a new personal best in the 100-yard freestyle race with a time of 51.75 at the Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championship on February 27.Â
- Placed third in the 100-yard backstroke against Rockhurst on December 2.Â
2022-23 (Sophomore)
- Named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
- Placed first in the 50-yard freestyle (24.27) versus Lindenwood/South Dakota on October 21st.
- Recorded her personal best 50-yard freestyle (23.44) in the Big 12 Championship Time Trial on Feb. 22nd.
2021-22 (Freshman)
- Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team.
- Made collegiate debut at the Sunflower Showdown (Oct. 1), where she finished third in the 50-yard freestyle event with a time of 25.11.
- Set a personal-best in the 50-yard freestyle (23.78), 100-yard freestyle (51.76) and 100-yard backstroke (56.77) at the Big 12 Championship (Feb. 23).
- Finished with the fifth-best time in the 50-yard freestyle event for the Jayhawks.
High School
- The Jayhawks added Hyatt from Central Arkansas Christian High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, who is a six-time Arkansas 1-4A State Championship Finalist.
- Hyatt earned gold in both the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke as a junior, and also owns the Arkansas State record in the 50 freestyle (23.54) and the 100 backstroke (57.75), as well as a member of the 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay.
