TEMPE, Ariz. – Kansas soccer will finish their Arizona road trip on Sunday afternoon against the Arizona State Sun Devils at Sun Devil Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. CT and the match will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Â
"Thursday at Arizona was a really good night for us," head coach Nate Lie said. "I thought we executed well in all phases of the game. It's going to be a tough challenge on Sunday in the heat and at the end of a five-day road trip. We have to come out focused and ready to go if we're going to earn a result against a talented Arizona State team."
Â
Kansas (7-5-4, 4-4-1 Big 12) has picked up at least a point in each of the last three matches. That includes back-to-back shutout victories against Utah and Arizona. The Jayhawks had a 2-0 win at home against Utah on Oct. 13 and a 4-0 shutout victory at Arizona on Thursday.
Â
Thursday night's win was the second conference victory on the road this season. Kansas did not have a conference win on the road in the last three seasons combined. The Jayhawks currently sit in eighth place in the Big 12 standings. The top 12 teams will qualify for the Big 12 Championship in Kansas City at CPKC Stadium.

Freshman
Jillian Gregorski scored her seventh and eight goals of the season on Thursday night. Her eight goals are the most by a Kansas freshman since 2012 when Ashley Williams had eight goals as a freshman. She is tied for fifth in the Big 12 for most goals scored this season.
Â
Redshirt freshman
Sophie Dawe recorded her fifth shutout of the season at Arizona. Her five shutouts are the most since Sarah Peters had six shutouts in 2020. Dawe has started all but one game this season in goal and has posted a 1.00 goals against average.
