
Kansas Softball Hosts Ottawa in Fall Ball Finale

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kansas softball team is set to host Ottawa University at 5:30 p.m. CT at Arrocha Ballpark for its final game of the fall ball season.
The Jayhawks are coming off an action-packed weekend, hosting Baker University, Central Missouri, and Missouri in a series of games from Oct. 5-6.
Kansas defeated Central Missouri 17-0 and Baker University 9-1, displaying strong offensive and defensive performances throughout the weekend. Against Central Missouri, the Jayhawks recorded 11 hits and five strikeouts while holding their opponent to just one hit over seven innings. In their game against Baker, Kansas racked up nine hits and seven strikeouts, limiting Baker to just three hits and one run. Kansas showed resilience against Missouri, where the team tallied 13 hits. Notable moments include home runs from Aynslee Linduff and Kadence Stafford, with Stafford driving in two runs during the sixth inning.
"We've had some great teaching opportunities this fall with a few tough opponents," Head Coach Jennifer McFalls said. "I'm excited to see our players put it all together tomorrow against Ottawa as we wrap up our fall season."
