Kansas Begins Postseason at 2025 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships on Tuesday

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – The Kansas Swimming and Diving team is set to compete at the 2025 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships at Weyerhaeuser King Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Washington, Feb. 25 - March 1.

Kansas heads into the postseason after posting a 3-4 dual meet record. Most recently, the Jayhawks topped Iowa State, 181-117, in Lawrence on Feb. 7.

"We're looking forward to the start of the Big 12 Championship," said Kansas head coach Clark Campbell. "It is our primary program focus for the season and our team is ready."

The Jayhawks are led by sophomore sensation Shiyun Lai, a five-time Big 12 Diver of the Week this season. At last season's Big 12 Championship, Lai claimed first in the three-meter diving event, earning her Big 12 Women's Diver of the Meet honors.

Last season, Kansas finished seventh in the championship with a score of 647.50.

Outside of the pool, Kansas achieved a 3.76 GPA this year and was recognized as a CSCAA Fall Scholar All-America Team for the 45th-straight semester.
