GRAND HAVEN, Mich. – The Kansas women's golf team finished in eighth place at the Folds of Honor Collegiate at the American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Michigan. Kansas finished the tournament with scores of 297-296-303--896 (+32) on Wednesday.
Texas A&M won the 12-team event with a score of 871 (+7), followed by Baylor (+10), Kentucky (+13), North Carolina (+19), and Michigan State (+29) to round out the top five.
"Today was just a really disappointing day and a disappointing finish for our team that had a good start to the tournament. We just didn't finish very well, and didn't have the best energy and confidence out there." Head Coach

Senior
Amy DeKock led the way for the Jayhawks in the Folds of Honor Collegiate, firing scores of 75-70-77 (+6). DeKock's tournament was highlighted by a team low round 70 (-2), where she carded six birdies in Tuesday's second round. DeKock finished in 14th place, making it her 13th top 20 finish in her career.
Junior
Lyla Louderbaugh recorded her 11th top 20 finish of her career, finishing the tournament with scores of 75-74-75 (+8). Louderbaugh finished 16
th in the 59-golfer field.
Sophomore
Ebba Nordstedt finished her first tournament of the season with scores of 73-77-75 (+9). Nordstedt finished tied for 21st place.
Freshman
Kinslea Jones finished the tournament with scores of 78-75-76 (+13) and tied for 35th place. Jones recorded seven birdies throughout the tournament, and secured her first collegiate career eagle in her final round on Wednesday.
Senior
Anna Wallin finished the tournament with scores of 74-77-84 (+19) and tied for 45th place.

The Kansas women's golf team is set to travel to Wolcott, Colorado, to compete in the 2025 Golfweek Red Sky Classic at Red Sky Ranch Golf Club, Sept. 22-24. The Jayhawks won the Golfweek Red Sky Classic last year.
