Why Did You Choose KU?
KU gave me the opportunity to continue my academics to a high standard whilst also pursuing my journey as an athlete. After talking to the coaches and some of the athletes which were already on the team, everyone was so welcoming and proud to be on the team. The athlete resources and facilities which would be available for me at KU were very impressive.
How Did You Get Introduced to Rowing?
My twin sister started rowing and she had an amazing experience with our high school and I I got into rowing from a young age as my dad was a Great Britain coach, so I was always in the launch or on the river bank. I always loved watching it. After my sister became a cox at Canford School, I decided to follow in her footsteps and become a rower. I rowed all throughout my senior school before coming to KU.
