Why Did you Choose KU?
KU gave me the opportunity to combine high quality education while competing at the Division 1 level. The program stood out to me because of its strong team culture, the chance to race in the Big 12 and national regattas.
How did you get introduced to rowing?
Rowing was popular at my high school, so I decided to try out. My coach then asked me to become a coxswain, and I've loved it ever since.
Favorite thing to do in Lawrence?
Watching the football games with my teammates!
What is your favorite pre-race tradition?
Listening to music and getting my crew fired up!
