
Kansas Tennis Travels to Dallas for SMU Invitational

DALLAS – The Jayhawk women's tennis team will head to Dallas, Texas to compete in the SMU Invitational from Oct. 4-6 at the Styslinger / Altec Tennis Complex. Â
The tournament comes after last week's ITA All-American Championships held in Cary, North Carolina from Sept. 21-29. Kansas was represented by Gracie Mulville and Heike Janse van Vuuren at the ITA All-American Championships, with Mulville advancing to the round of 32 in qualifying singles, while the duo of Mulville and van Vuuren competed in pre-qualifying doubles.Â
Play at the SMU Invitational begins on Friday and will continue through Sunday.Â
Following the SMU Invitational, Kansas will travel to the ITA Central Region Championships hosted in Memphis, Tennessee from Oct. 10-14 before returning to the Lonestar state for the TCU Invitational in Fort Worth, Texas from Nov. 1-3.Â
