Olivia Micek is in her first season with Kansas Women’s Basketball after joining the staff as Social Media & Creative Manager in October 2023.
In this position, Micek is responsible for managing the content creation and the day-to-day management of Kansas Women’s Basketball social media accounts to attract, communicate, and engage with all audience members.
Micek worked as an intern with Kansas Athletics during the 2022-23 academic year, assisting with the creation and publishing of content across various Kansas Athletic team accounts. She focused on driving content and implementing social media strategies that helped as Kansas Athletics main account had the No. 1 engagement rate in the nation in 2022.
From Kearney, Nebraska, Micek is a graduate of the University of Kansas, earning a degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences in 2023.
