Hope Brown

Bio

Hope Brown joined the Kansas Athletics staff in 2022 as the social media manager for men’s basketball. In her role, she is the main social media contact for Kansas men’s basketball.

Brown came to KU from Virginia Tech, where she was a digital communications coordinator from August of 2022 to November of 2022. She was the primary creator and producer for the HokieSports social media account with a primary focus on driving fan engagement.

Before going to Virginia Tech, Brown traveled as a communications intern with the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), where she created engaging content for the social media platforms. She also served as the official photographer and videographer for all tournaments. Before the AJGA, Brown had a short stint with the Orange Bowl as a marketing and promotions intern. She developed engaging graphics that the Orange Bowl used on their social media channels.

A Lynn University graduate with a bachelor of science in sport management degree, Brown promoted the University to prospective students using the social media channels Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.
