Sara Krauz

Bio

Sara Krauz joined Kansas Athletics in July 2008 and serves as the IT Manager. Krauz helps with managing and enhancing the IT systems and processes deployed by Kansas Athletics to support its student-athletes, coaches and staff. Her main focus is on end-user support and managing the IT budget. Krauz also assists with various game-day responsibilities throughout the competition year.

Prior to joining the athletics staff, Krauz attended the University of Kansas and was a softball student-athlete. She played three seasons from 2006-08, and was a member of the 2006 Big 12 Tournament Championship team. Krauz received the Jayhawk Spirit Award in 2006 and 2008, while also being named an NFCA Scholar Athlete in 2006.

Krauz graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the KU School of Business with an emphasis in information systems. Following her graduation, Krauz completed her cyber security certification through Eastern Gateway Community College.

A native of Hutchinson, Kansas, Krauz enjoys traveling with family, working on house projects, and playing with her three dogs – Colt, Lily, and Bentley outside of work. Krauz and her husband, Wesley, have one daughter, Brynlie.
