Bio

Zac Sias joined the Kansas Football staff in 2024 as a graduate assistant working with the defensive side of the ball.

Sias spent the previous two seasons at Arkansas State, working with the Red Wolves defense.

Prior to Arkansas State, Sias spent the 2020 and 2021 seasons at Mississippi Delta Community College as a graduate assistant coach and assistant defensive line coach for the Trojans.

The Rolling Fork, Miss., native is a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University, where he was a major contributor as a starter on the offensive line as both a junior and senior.  His junior season, he helped the Delta Devils’ run offense improve by over 1,000 yards compared to the year prior.

Sias transferred to MVSU from Hinds (Miss.) Community College, where he played for head coach Larry Williams.  He spent his prep career at South Delta High School, earning all-state honors.

After earning an associate of arts degree from Hinds, Sias went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in government and politics from MVSU.
