Kansas football is taking part in the annual Big 12 Conference Football Media Days on July 22. The three-day event features Nebraska, Texas Tech, Missouri and Texas A&M on Monday, Kansas, Colorado, Kansas State, and Oklahoma State on Tuesday, and Oklahoma, Baylor, Iowa State and texas on Wednesday in Kansas City. Former Kansas football standout Gilbert Brown will be inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame at the Hall's 38th induction banquet to be held on Saturday, July 19. Brown spent 10 seasons with the Packers from 1983-99, 2001-03 for the fourth longest tenure by a defensive lineman in franchise history. His 125 games with Green Bay, include 103 starts. He recorded 292 tackles in his career and was part of 15 playoff games, including Green Bay's Super Bowl win after the 1996 season. (more)
