The University of Kansas announced Thursday it has embarked on a groundbreaking partnership with Oak View Group (OVG), a leader in global sports and entertainment, as the stadium operator for the Gateway District and reimagined David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.

The Kansas Jayhawks (27-21-1, 11-13 Big 12) host Big 12 newcomer BYU (26-22, 8-16 Big 12) in a three-game series at Arrocha Ballpark from May 2-4, Thursday-Saturday. This will be the first time Kansas and BYU have squared off at Arrocha. Saturday, KU will celebrate its eight seniors in its annual senior game event. 

First-year Head Coach Nate Lie announced the 2024 Kansas Soccer schedule on Monday. The 2024 schedule includes 19 regular season matches, including 11 Big 12 Conference games, with matchups against league newcomers Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah.

Riding a six-game winning streak, Kansas will host Wichita State at Hoglund Ballpark on Wednesday night. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT as Kansas looks to continue its recent hot stretch in which the Jayhawks have won 10 of their last 11 games.

Following a successful 12-year NFL career that included four Pro Bowl appearances, All-Pro honors and a Super Bowl 50 title, Kansas Jayhawk Chris Harris Jr. announced his retirement from professional football on Tuesday.

Kansas completed a three-game series sweep of Texas Tech on Sunday at Hoglund Ballpark, with a 7-3 victory over the Red Raiders. The red-hot Jayhawks have now won six straight games and 10 of their last 11. The Jayhawks, who now have four weekend series sweeps this season, improved to 25-15 overall and 12-9 in Big 12 Conference play.

Kansas softball dropped the series finale at No. 4 Oklahoma State 9-1 in five innings at Cowgirl Stadium Sunday.
