KU Softball To Host Recruitment Education Seminar

The University of Kansas would like to invite you to its first-ever Recruitment Education Seminar. The purpose of this lecture is to educate coaches, parents and players to the NCAA rules regarding the recruitment of potential student-athletes and to answer some frequently asked questions about the recruiting process. Topics that will be covered include:

a. Rules and Regulations

b. Official & Unofficial Visits

c. Scholarship Opportunities

d. Eligibility

2. Recruiting Opportunities

a. Camps and Clinics

b. Travel Ball Tournaments

c. Videos and Resumes

d. Recruiting Services

This is a great opportunity to learn what you need to know as a coach, as a parent, and as a potential student-athlete to make the recruiting process a smooth and successful one. Details for this seminar are listed below.

Where: Hadl Auditorium, The University of Kansas

When: Saturday, February 4, 2006, 6:30- 8:30p.m.

Cost: $20.00 (pre-register) per person, $25.00 at the door

*If you are a parent attending, you may bring ONE child for no extra fee.
