…Drops Kansas head coach Bonnie Henrickson’s record at KU to 90-85 and her overall mark to 248-147.

Game Notes

Freshman Carolyn Davis hauled in a career-high nine rebounds, seven of them coming in the first half. Her previous high was six, which she had in the Jayhawks’ win over Missouri on Jan. 17.

— Freshman Monica Engelman had a career-high in points with 10 and field goals made with four, all of which came in the second half.

— Senior Sade Morris was the leading scorer for the Jayhawks with 16 points, marking the third time this season she has led the offensive effort for KU. Morris also played a season-high 40 minutes against the Cyclones.

— Senior Danielle McCray was held to only six points in the contest, which is the first time all season she has not scored in double figures. Her six-point outing also broke a streak of 30-straight games of 10 or more points.

— Kansas has only won one game in Ames, Iowa in the last decade. That victory was on Feb. 18, 2006 when the Jayhawks defeated ISU 57-56 in overtime.

–KU attempted only two free throws in the game, making just one of them, both of which are season lows for the Jayhawks.
