Football In February Event In Kansas City To Take Place Feb. 17

Kansas Athletics has announced the Kansas City Football in February event will now take place on Thursday, February 17 at the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel (6100 College Boulevard).
The event was originally scheduled for February 2, but was postponed due to inclement weather.
Other remaining events will take place as scheduled in Wichita on Tuesday, February 8 and Topeka February 15.
The events showcase KU’s 2011 football recruiting class and give fans an opportunity to visit with Head Coach Turner Gill and new Athletics Director Sheahon Zenger.
All events are free and open to the public and will run from 6-7:30 p.m. Each night will include complimentary hors d’oeuvres and cash bar. Dr. Zenger and Coach Gill will address the crowd and meet with fans before exclusive highlights of the incoming Jayhawks are shown.
Head Coach Turner Gill announced the 2011 class on February 2 and it has been highly praised by several national recruiting analysts and websites. Fans can visit Signing Day Central on kuathletics.com for the latest news and features on the new class.
