Kansas Swimming and Diving Schedules Additional Meet

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The University of Kansas swimming and diving team will participate in an additional meet this season on Saturday, Feb. 24, with Ohio State University. The Buckeyes will be hosting the “Last Ditch Qualifier”, an additional opportunity for swimmers and divers to make NCAA qualification times.

The Jayhawks will enter the meet in Columbus, Ohio, after a third-place finish at the Big 12 Conference Championships Feb. 14-17, where four Kansas school records were broken. Kansas is 6-1 in dual meet competition, its only loss to Missouri on Oct. 27.

Following the competition with the Buckeyes, the Jayhawk divers will head to the Zone D Diving Competition in Austin, Texas, at the Jamail Texas Swim Center March 2-4. Both swimming and diving NCAA qualifiers will reconvene at the NCAA Championships March 8-10 in Minneapolis, Minn., at the Minnesota Aquatic Center on the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus.
