Kansas In Third At All-American Intercollegiate

HOUSTON, Texas –

The University of Kansas men’s golf team is in third place, in a 13-team field, after two rounds of the All-American Intercollegiate in Houston, Texas. Kansas shot an opening round of 296 and followed that up with a 287 at the par-72 Cypresswood Golf Club.

Houston is in first after posting a score of 566, followed by Colorado with a 573.

Junior Gary Woodland is tied for fourth after opening rounds of 70 and 71. Senior Pete Krsnich shot a first round of 74 followed by a 72 and is tied for 19th. Senior Luke Trammell is also tied for 19th after rounds of 75 and 71. Junior Barrett Martens is tied for 32nd after posting rounds of 77 and 73. Freshman Zach Pederson is tied for 42nd after rounds of 78 and 74.

The players will begin second round action tomorrow at 8 a.m. Central Time.
