Game Notes…
— Kansas used the same starting lineup of Ivana Catic, Sade Morris, Danielle McCray, Taylor McIntosh and Krysten Boogaard for the 14th time in the last 15 games.
— Kansas’ last three losses have been by a combined 11 points. (Texas Tech by four, Missouri by three and Texas by four).
— KU has now lost three straight for the second time this season.
— Danielle McCray hit double-figures for the 11th consecutive game with a team-high 19 points. McCray grabbed 10 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season.
— McCray is averaging 18 points per game in the last five contests. She has scored at least 10 points in 22 games this season.
— Nicollette Smith made one shot from three-point range and has now hit a trey in 21 of the 27 games played including at least one in the last five games.
— Smith had a season-high three steals and tied a season-high in blocks with two.
— Texas out-rebounded Kansas 36-32. KU is now 2-7 when losing the edge in rebounding.
— The Longhorns’ first lead came with 5:54 left in the second half. Texas’ total time with the lead was 1:29.
— The Jayhawks endured a scoring drought of 5:54 in the second half that lasted 16:06 to 10:18. Texas capitalized with a 10-2 run during that span.
