Dates Set for KU Football Camps

LAWRENCE, Kan. — Dates have been set and registration is currently underway for the University of Kansas summer football camps which begin June 1. The KU football staff offers a variety of camps for anyone entering the fourth grade or above (based on the grade in the fall of 2006). Under NCAA rules, any person that has started their senior year of classes is ineligible for camp.

The Jayhawks will host a satellite camp (June 7 in Wichita) in addition to several camps in Lawrence. Individuals can participate in a Kid’s Camp on June 1, an OL/DL camp on June 3, a kicking/punting camp on June 10 or one of two overnight skills camps. Also, the Super Jayhawk Camp will be held on June 17 for athletes who will be seniors in high school in the fall of 2006.

June 1 – Kid’s Camp (Grades 4-6) $25.00
June 3 – OL/DL Camp (Grades 9-12) $25.00
June 3 – Great Plains Shootout (High School teams only)
June 7 – Satellite Camp Wichita (Grades 9-12) $25.00
June 10 – Kicking and Punting Camp (Grades 9-12) $75.00
June 11-13 – Overnight Skills Camp I (Grades 10-12) $210.00 Overnight, $180.00 Commuter
June 13-15 – Overnight Skills Camp II (Grades 7-9) $210.00 Overnight, $180.00 Commuter
June 17 – Super Jayhawk Camp (Fall 2006 Grade 12 only) $25.00
