Men's Golf In Fourth At Roadrunner Intercollegiate

SAN ANTONIO, Texas –

The Kansas men’s golf team is currently in fourth place, in a 17-team field, at the 2005 Roadrunner Intercollegiate at Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio, Texas. The Jayhawks shot an opening round of 284 and followed it up with a second round 292 for a combine score of 576.

“We didn’t play very well in the second round,” head coach Ross Randall said. “Hopefully tomorrow we will play like we are supposed to play and catch the teams in front of us.”

Wichita State and Baylor are currently tied for the lead with a combined score of 571.

Sophomore Tyler Docking is tied for second place after he totaled a two round score of 140. Senior Andrew Price is currently tied for 12th place after a two round total of 144. Senior Kevin Ward, Junior Pete Krsnich and sophomore Gary Woodland each carded two round scores of 149 to tie for 37th place. Junior Luke Trammell, playing as an individual, is currently in a tie for 61st place after posting a 154.

Kansas will wrap up play on Tuesday, March 1.
