LAWRENCE, Kan. –

A busy spring has the University of Kansas volleyball team playing in several matches throughout the month of April. The first full week of spring practice officially got underway earlier this week in preparation for the Jayhawks’ spring slate.

Kansas will travel to the University of Arkansas on April 2 for its first of six matches. On April 5, the Jayhawks will host scrimmages versus Rockhurst, Washburn and Central Missouri at the HorejsiFamilyAthleticsCenter. The competitions begin at 5 p.m. and are open to the public.

One last home match will be held on April 9 as KU welcomes Creighton for an afternoon match at 1 p.m., also free and open to the public.

The Jayhawks will wrap up the month of April competing against in-state rival KansasState on April 16 at BlueValleyWestHigh School in Overland Park, Kan., during the Wildcats’ spring invitational.
