Kansas Diver Cash Competes at NCAA Zones

AUSTIN, Texas –

Sophomore diver Christy Cash represented the University of Kansas as she competed in the 2011 NCAA Zone ‘D’ Diving Championships in Austin, Texas. Cash placed 22nd in the platform dive, 30th in the one-meter competition and 33rd on the three-meter board.

The sophomore from Lenexa, Kan., received a score of 182.20 on the platform and 225.40 on the one-meter board. In the three-meter competition, Cash scored 224.40.

Senior and junior will represent the University of Kansas swimming and diving team at the 2011 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships March 17-19 in Austin, Texas. Kuzhil will compete in the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke events, while Payne is the fourth alternate for the 400-yard IM. If Payne is selected for the 400 IM, she will also compete in the 200-yard IM and the 200-yard butterfly. Stephanie PayneIuliia Kuzhil
