Kansas' Proehl Competes in One Meter Dive on First Day of NCAAs

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. –

Kansas senior Meghan Proehl finished 23rd in the one-meter diving competition on the first day of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Purdue’s campus in West Lafayette, Ind. She finished with 274.30 points.

The senior from San Diego, Calif., will compete in the three-meter dive on Friday and the platform event on Saturday.

Proehl will be joined at the NCAAs by junior swimmer Iuliia Kuzhil, who qualified to compete in the 100-yard backstroke on Friday and 200-yard backstroke on Saturday.
