Game Notes:

– Kansas sophomore Danielle McCray set a new career-high with eight steals on the night. McCray additionally contributed 18 points and nine rebounds.

– Freshman Nicollette Smith was a perfect 2-2 from behind the arc.

– Sophomore LaChelda Jacobs’ six assists tied a career high.

– Senior Taylor McIntosh grabbed 11 rebounds, marking her sixth game this season with 10 or more boards.

– Sophomore Sade Morris made her 33rd start of the season next to fellow teammates Ivana Catic, Danielle McCray, Krysten Boogaard and Taylor McIntosh. Morris is the only Jayhawk to have started every game.

– Both McCray and Boogaard tallied double-digits. Boogaard racked 10, her 14th double-digit game this season, while McCray recorded 18, her 26th double-digit scoring game on the season.

– The Jayhawks held the Spartans to just 31 percent shooting in the first-half.

– Kansas scored 10 fast break points to Michigan State’s five.

– The Jayhawks recorded 22 turnovers to the Spartans’ 16.
