The Jayhawk faithful were treated to a replay of KU’s national semifinal win over Ohio State prior to the team’s arrival. A highlight reel then preceded the team’s introduction at center court. In between bouts of cheering and applause, members of the team thanked the fans for their support during the season before head coach Bill Self wrapped up the evening with a final note of gratitude.

Kansas concluded the 2011-12 season 32-7 overall and advanced to its ninth NCAA title game. The Jayhawks were defeated 67-59 by top-seeded Kentucky in the title game.
