Kansas Fans Can Watch KU's National Championship Game at Allen Fieldhouse

LAWRENCE, Kan. – University of Kansas men’s basketball fans will have the opportunity to watch KU’s National Championship game on the video board at Allen Fieldhouse, Kansas Athletics officials announced April 1.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” />

The south and east entrances of Allen Fieldhouse will be open starting at 7:30 p.m. for Monday night’s contest vs. Memphis. Tip will be approximately 8:21 p.m. from the Alamodome in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags” />San Antonio, Texas. The KU pep band and the mascots will be on hand.

The Fieldhouse will close immediately following the game.

Admission is free, and parking lots and the parking garage adjacent to Allen Fieldhouse will be available at no charge. The KUstore.com, the Booth Family Hall of Athletics and concession stands on the lower concourses will be open.

Kansas (36-3) is appearing in its eighth national championship game in school history and first since 2003.
