Kansas Head Coach Clark Campbell Heads Overseas

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The City of Alexandria, Egypt, and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, await swimming and diving head coach Clark Campbell, who will travel overseas April 21-May 1 as a member of the American Swimming Coaches Association. During the two-week expedition, Campbell will be a part of coaching clinics in the two cities that will serve to teach swimming coaches in the developing cities the skills and mechanics of swimming from American coaches.
Egypt will be Campbell’s first stop from April 21-25, while Dubai will follow April 27-May 1.
“It will be a great honor to represent the American Swimming Coaches Association in both countries,” Campbell said. “I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge that I have learned in the United States and passing it on to our friends abroad.”
Shortly after his return to the States, Campbell and the Kansas swimming and diving team will celebrate the 2007-08 season’s successes and awards at the annual banquet May 3. For news on award winners following the banquet, visit www.kuathletics.com.
