Felix and Gatlin to Appear on NBC's `Today Show'

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

GOLDZONE II stars Allyson Felix and Justin Gatlin will be appearing on the “Today Show” Wednesday morning. The two Olympic medalists and world champions will be appearing as a part of Al Roker’s “Lend a Hand” series.

The show will be benefitting the Bolder Options charity out of Minneapolis, Minn. Bolder Options focuses on giving underprivileged youth the opportunity for involvement in physical activities. Their mission is “to teach youth to succeed in all of life’s races.”

The “Today Show” airs from 7-10 a.m. on NBC. After appearing with Roker to aid the charity, Felix and Gatlin will travel to Lawrence to take part in the main events of the the 79th Kansas Relays. Gatlin will face Olympic champion Maurice Greene as they anchor their respective 4×100-meter relay teams. Felix will race the Invitational 100-meter dash along with Olympian and world champion Muna Lee, a Kansas City Central High School graduate.
