Kansas-Wichita State Game Moved to May 1

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas and Wichita State will continue its non-conference series for the 21st-consecutive season, but will move the date of this year’s meeting to Wednesday, May 1.

A scheduling conflict caused the game from to be moved from its original date of Tuesday, April 30. Game time has not changed as the Jayhawks (26-11) will host the Shockers (15-22) in a single game beginning at 6 p.m. inside Arrocha Ballpark.

The Jayhawks travel to Stillwater, Okla., for a key three-game series at Oklahoma State. KU enters the weekend fourth in the Big 12 Conference standings, while the Cowgirls are sixth. First pitch times for the Friday-Saturday-Sunday series are 5:30 p.m., noon and noon.
