Weather Alters Series With No. 1 Oklahoma

April 30, 2013

LAWRENCE, Kan. – In a growing trend throughout the season, weather has again altered the Kansas softball team’s plans as the three-game series against No. 1 Oklahoma has been changed to a Saturday doubleheader at 2 and 4 p.m. and a single game at noon on Sunday at Arrocha Ballpark.

The series was originally scheduled for a Friday doubleheader at 2 and 4 p.m. with the series finale slated for Saturday at noon. However, due to impending weather, the games will now be on Saturday (2/4 p.m.) and Sunday (12 p.m.).

Kansas will host Wichita State in a non-conference midweek matchup on Wednesday at 6 p.m. inside Arrocha Ballpark. The official online source for Kansas Athletics, Williams Education Fund contributions, tickets, merchandise, multimedia, photos and much, much more.
