Gault Travels to Europe with U.S. U-21 Soccer Team

University of Kansas soccer player Holly Gault completed a three-match tour in Europe with the U.S. Under-21 National Team. Gault and the U-21 squad played two matches in the Netherlands and one in Germany.

The U21 squad won all three of its matches by a combined score of 7-1. U.S. defeated Seastum 2-1 on April 29 and the Dutch National Team 2-0 on May 2. The team then travelled to Germany to defeat Duisburg, 3-0.

U.S. head coach Jill Ellis continues the process of selecting a team to participate in the annual Nordic Cup, this coming summer in Norway. The USA has won an unprecedented seven straight Nordic Cups against the top U-21 teams from Europe.
